This Trident or Trishul is believed to symbolize Lord Shiva as master of the world by his maintaining a balance of the 3 Gunas – stability, change, and inertia. It is also believed to symbolize the destruction of 3 worlds – the physical, the past and the mind, into a single plane of existence, which is bliss. The Damaru or the drum, is believed to generate spiritual energy when played, giving birth to the Sanskrit language from which all Indian languages have been formed. Our Trident is all steel and has been heat blackened, giving it a dark, appearance. Dual ribbed sections allow for a firm grasp. Includes the Damaru, which can be displayed with the Trishul or played for ceremonies Hand forged, high carbon steel, made by Windlass Steelcrafts.
