What is your usual order processing time?

Some items (especially leather products, which may be made to order) may not be available for immediate shipment. If you need your order immediately, please contact us. Otherwise, some orders may take around two weeks, possibly longer depending upon the item ordered. Most orders are shipped within 1-3 business days upon receiving payment confirmation. We will email you to let you know we have confirmed your payment and when your order will be shipped to you. Shipping charges are automatically included in your checkout at the time of order.

How are the goods sent?

Goods are sent by a reputed and reliable courier company like USPS, DHL, UPS or Fedex.

When should I expect the ordered goods?

Goods are usually delivered within 5-7 business days from the shipping date.

It’s beyond the expected shipping date and I have still not received my order. What should I do?

If order delivery has been delayed beyond the expected date, drop us an email using our ‘Summon Us’ page. The delay could be because of some problem in the address or a delayed flight. Whatever be the reason, we would look into it.

What are your shipping charges?

We were able to negotiate with the shipping companies for some of the lowest shipping charges. Regular ground shipping is based on the total order. For expedited shipping, the cost is higher (of course). We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday.

International Ordering Guidelines

All international orders are reviewed by our customer service staff before the order is released for shipment.  This could take 1 or 2 additional business days before your order ships. Please note, for international orders we do not place out of stock items on back order.

To expedite your order, simply pay for priority shipping as you place your order on the Ye Old Renaissance Shop website.

The freight cost that was calculated for your internet order might not be correct for your shipping location.   Our customer service staff will review your order and let you know by e-mail if the order or the freight cost needs to be amended before it can ship.  You must reply by e-mail within 5 days to confirm the charges or the order will be canceled.  Any order that requires changes will not be processed or shipped unless you have agreed to the change.

We are not responsible for any import duties or local taxes you might be required to pay.

Please make sure you include a correct email address and daytime telephone with your order.  We must include this information on the shipping label in case the shipper or customs needs to make contact.

I need to track my order; can you send me a tracking number?

Absolutely. Just drop a request for tracking number using our ‘Summon Us’ page. The tracking number would be sent to you. Note: Remember to indicate your order ID when sending the request.

My item was damaged during shipping. Now what?

No need to worry. We would help you place a claim with the shipping company and get the refund. Shipping companies like UPS are actually very quick with such claims.

 

 


Returns/Exchanges

What is the cooling-off period for returns or exchanges?

All claims should be submitted within 14 days of receiving the items.

Who handles the returns?

We can handle the returns, however we advice the merchants to handle returns as it increases customer confidence.

Do you charge any restocking fee?

Yes. The restocking fee is 15% of the order or $25 (whichever is greater).

What your return and exchange policy?

  • We have a customer-friendly policy. If the goods were defective, or the item received was not in accordance with the order (no restocking fee charged) or you ordered the wrong item/size (standard restocking fee applies); in either case we would refund the product or exchange the product. All claims should be submitted within 14 days from delivery.
  • Many items are custom order items and will not be eligible for return or refund

Who would pay for the shipping?

The shipping would be paid by us only if the products are defective or the wrong items were delivered because of our fault.

Do I need a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)?

No RMA is required. Drop us an email (using our ‘Summon Us’ page) regarding the issue and we will guide you through the entire process. Packages that arrive without prior email notification are likely to be refused.

I need to exchange my ordered goods, how should I proceed?
