Keeping your arms safe in battle should be a priority, if only because they’re what let you keep wielding your weapons and defending yourself from harm. This set of Gothic Arm Armour will go a long way towards encasing your arms in protective steel. The most important part about this armour likely the addition of a couter, or elbow protector, which keeps your elbow safe, while still allowing it, and your arm, to move freely. Each piece of arm armour is crafted from 18 gauge steel and features a shiny metal finish, as well as a look that complements our other gothic pieces of armor quite nicely. It consists of several pieces, including the counter, which is a metal shell that wraps around the elbow, the rerebrace, which is armour for the upper arm, and the limited vembrace, which offers protection for the forearm. The forearm protectors consist of two half-tubes that are hinged on one side and rotate to wrap around the whole forearm, before being belted together. The couter is similar, being a metal shell that protects the elbow and is secured in place via a leather strap and a buckle. The rerebrace, which protects the upper arm, is a single piece that wraps around the upper arm and is secured in place via another strap and buckle, and can be bent gently to achieve a better fit. Please note that the armor is pictured here with padding worn underneath. The Gothic Arm Armour only includes the steel armor plating and are sold as a pair of arm protectors. If you’re looking to go into battle knowing that you’re well-protected, then you’ll at least want to wear this set of Gothic Arm Armour. And if you happen to have other pieces of armor, well, you can rest assured that this gothic arm armour has a style that meshes nicely with other breastplates, pauldrons, and more, although it looks particularly nice when paired with other pieces of gothic armour.
